Juice WRLD spend second week at No. 1

Juice WRLD‘s posthumous album, Legends Never Die, holds the top spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart, despite seeing album equivalent units falling by 67%. 

The Chicks first album in 14 years, Gaslighter, entered the chart at No. 3 and Jhené Aiko’s Chilombo jumped from No. 43 to No. 6. The latter benefited from a deluxe reissue July 17 which added nine tracks. 

Juice WRLD debuts posthumously at No. 1

Juice Wrld‘s Legends Never Die had a monster debut, moving the equivalent of 497,000 album units, and entering the Billboard 200 albums chart at No. 1. This is Juice WRLD’s second No. 1 album and his first release since his death on December 8, 2019. Juice WRLD’s debut knocks another posthumous release, Pop Smoke‘s Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon, from the top spot on the chart. 

No other new release cracked the top 10 this week. 

DaBaby’s “Rockstar” tops Billboard Hot 100 for sixth week

DaBaby‘s “Rockstar”(featuring Roddy Ricch) tops the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for a sixth week while Juice WRLD has five singles land in the top 10, matching The Beatles and Drake as the only acts to ever land at least five songs in the top 10 in the same week. 

No other new releases opened in the top 10 this week.

Primavera Sound, INXS in News Notes

Bad BunnyBauhausBeck, and the Black Lips are among the bands scheduled for Primavera Sound 2021, in Barcelona, Spain, June 2 through 6, 2021. Though the 20th anniversary 2020 concert was never officially postponed or canceled, festival organizers announced the 2021 lineup. The festival is still scheduled to hold its inaugural sister festival in Los Angeles, California, September 12. No lineup for that festival has yet been announced… 

INXS is releasing a remastered, remixed, and restored version of its 1991 concert film, Live Baby Live, June 26 via EagleVision. This version of the film includes a performance of their track “Lately,” which was thought to have been lost…

Ellie Goulding will release her fourth album, Brightest Blue, an 18-track double-sided LP, July 17, via Interscope Records. The album features collaborations with DiploSwae LeeblackbearserpentwithfeetLauv, and Juice WRLD
